Product Overview

The 1×2 manual PM fiber optic switch from Coreray is a high-performance optical component designed for fiber optic communication systems, sensing networks, and laboratory environments. Engineered with polarization-maintaining (PM) technology and optimized for 1550nm wavelength, this fiber optic switch ensures stable signal transmission with minimal loss. Equipped with FC/APC connectors and a manual latching mechanism, it delivers reliable performance in both industrial and research settings.

Working Principle

This mechanical optical switch uses a precision optical path and PM1550 fiber to maintain polarization stability. When the button is pressed, the internal mechanism switches the optical path to the desired output channel. Upon release, a latching system locks the position to prevent misalignment. Combined with FC/APC connectors, it ensures low reflection and high isolation (≥55dB return loss and crosstalk) at 1550nm.

Installation Notes
